Frequently asked questions
Selling or part exchanging your watch with Watchfinder couldn’t be easier. Once you have submitted an initial enquiry telling us the make and model of your watch, we will send you an estimate within 48 hours. You can then send us your watch, or drop it off at select nationwide locations, and after an inspection at our brand-accredited service centre, we will issue you a final offer. If you’re happy with this, we will transfer the money into your account by BACs in 5 days if you're selling, or complete your order and dispatch your new watch if you're part exchanging.

Although you don’t need to have the box and papers to sell us your watch, their absence can affect the value. Proof of purchase will be required if you do not have the box and papers.
You can check the status of your enquiry at any time by logging in to your account page. As soon as your watch has been received and booked in, your account will be updated.
As well as having the largest independent brand-accredited service centre in the UK, we also offer the widest selection of premium pre-owned watches nationwide. This allows us to offer you the most competitive quotes for your luxury timepiece.
Most watches at Watchfinder cannot have VAT reclaimed, however there are a few that can. Please ask your sales advisor before purchase for further information.
